Don't sweat the small stuff. Crafting is key in Animal Crossing, so keep an eye out for that DIY recipe for the flimsy net. Once you've got it, you're golden. Happy bug catching!

Honestly, just shake trees and hit rocks. You'll stumble upon a net or the materials to make one sooner or later. Island life, am I right?

Easy. First day on the island, talk to Tom Nook after catching bugs with your bare hands. He'll give you a DIY recipe for a flimsy net. Craft it at his workbench using branches!

To snag yourself a bug net in Animal Crossing, simply visit the Nook's Cranny shop. It's available for purchase there! If Nook's Cranny hasn't opened up for you yet, you can also buy a flimsy net from Timmy or Tommy in Resident Services. When you're ready to upgrade to a sturdier net, just gather the required materials and craft it at any DIY workbench.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
