Got mine while I wasn't even trying. Just focus on enjoying the game and exploring, and when you least expect it, boom, Crimson Key.
Just farm, farm, farm! The Crimson Key will drop from any enemy in the Crimson area, but remember it's super rare. Make a good farming setup to maximize how many mobs you're taking down. Good luck!
