Critical catches are mostly up to luck, but using Ultra Balls and Razz Berries can help increase your chances. Spin the Poke Ball for a curveball throw for extra style points!

Honestly, critical catches are just about RNG (random number generator). There's no surefire way to make it happen.

From my experience, aiming for the smallest possible circle when throwing the Poke Ball seems to trigger critical catches more often. Patience pays off!

Try hitting the Pokemon with a curveball throw and use higher-tier Poke Balls. I've seen a higher rate of critical catches this way!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
