To get a job in The Sims FreePlay on your iPad, just send your Sim to the Town Map and tap on a workplace (like the fire station or the hospital) to select a job. Easy peasy!
Town Map, choose a workplace, pick a job. Done.
From firsthand experience, head to the Town Map, click on a workplace, and then assign your Sim to a career. It's kept my Sims busy for ages!
