Make sure the batteries aren't dead! If that's not it, try resetting your Roku by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

Replace the batteries and point it right at the Roku player. Worked for me!

I once had this problem; turned out I just needed to re-pair the remote. Push the pairing button inside the battery compartment until the light starts blinking.
