Ah, the elusive solar eclipse! You're in for some monster mayhem. To trigger a solar eclipse in Terraria, it's all about patience since they're random events that can occur after defeating at least one mechanical boss (The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, or The Twins). It happens only during daytime, from 4:30 AM to 7:30 PM game time. If you're feeling lucky, you can also use a Solar Tablet, which you can craft or find in Lihzahrd chests in the Jungle Temple, to summon a solar eclipse at will during the day. Get your gear ready; things are about to get spooky!

Easiest way? Solar Tablet. Find one in the Jungle Temple or craft it. Boom, instant eclipse!

Just wait it out. Solar eclipses are totally random after you beat a Mech Boss. No biggie!
