You don't always need a bridge to get across the river in Animal Crossing. A vaulting pole does the trick just fine. Plus, it adds an adventurous vibe to your game.

Bridges are overrated early on. The vaulting pole is where it's at for crossing rivers.

To get across the river in Animal Crossing, early on, you'll get a vaulting pole! Tom Nook will give you the DIY recipe for it after you've caught some bugs or fish for him. Just equip it, and when you're near the river, press A to vault over it. Later in the game, you can build bridges to make crossing easier.

Just save up and build a bridge. It makes your island look way nicer and it's less of a hassle than vaulting every time.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
