Just buy one! If crafting ain't your thing or you're too impatient, just head over to Nook's Cranny. Timmy and Tommy sell tools, including axes. Might not always be in stock, but keep checking.

Crafting is overrated. Just hit up a friend's island. I snagged my first axe by trading fruit with a buddy. Island networking, folks!

Oh, getting an axe in Animal Crossing is pretty simple! First, you gotta talk to Tom Nook after completing his initial DIY workshop. He'll give you the recipe for a flimsy axe. Then, you just need to gather the materials - 5 tree branches and 1 stone. Craft it at a DIY workbench, and voila, you've got yourself an axe! Upgrading it later on to a better one is another adventure.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
