Just start fresh! New island, new adventures. Sometimes it's more fun to experience everything from scratch rather than transferring. Plus, you get to redesign your island with all the new ideas you've had.

To transfer your Animal Crossing island to a new Switch, you'll need to use the Island Transfer Tool from the eShop. Firstly, make sure both your old and new Switch systems are updated, then download the Island Transfer Tool on both. Follow the prompts to transfer your island - it's a bit of a process but it works like a charm!

Honestly, transferring your Animal Crossing island is a hassle. I did it once and while it's doable, consider if you're really attached to your island. Sometimes a new start can be unexpectedly refreshing!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
