Getting villagers to move out in Animal Crossing can be a patience test, for sure! One way is to just ignore them completely. Don't talk to them, don't do tasks for them, and definitely don't hit them with your net (contrary to popular belief, it doesn't work and just ruins the friendly vibe of the game). Another method is to keep an eye out for when they have a cloud over their head, signaling they're thinking about something big - this might be their cue to leave, and you can encourage them if you're ready to see them go.

Just talk to Isabelle. Seriously, complaining to her about the villagers you don't vibe with can sometimes feel like it makes a difference. Though it's not officially confirmed, some players swear by this method as a gentle nudge to get villagers to think about moving out.

Honestly, y'all are too harsh. Animal Crossing is about chill vibes and friendship. Maybe try befriending them instead? Who knows, they might grow on you, or they could decide to leave on their own because they feel like they've fulfilled their friendship journey in your village.

Time travel. If you're not against a bit of in-game time manipulation, skipping ahead a few weeks or months can shake things up enough in your village to get someone to consider moving out.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
