How to get around the save bug in Geometry Dash
Ran into this save bug nightmare too! What worked for me was manually backing up my data before I exit the game. Go to the settings, hit the 'Account' tab, and click 'Save'. Do this ritual every time you play, and even if the bug strikes, you won't lose much progress. Better safe than sorry!

Honestly, just email the support team. They're super helpful and might be able to restore your progress. Plus, it helps them fix the bug sooner for everyone else.
Just play without saving, adds an extra layer of challenge ;)
If you're on PC, try running the game as an administrator before saving. It seems like a permissions issue sometimes. Right-click the game icon, select 'Run as administrator', and then try saving within the game. Worked for me after a couple of frustrating days!
