How to Get Back Deleted DMs on Instagram
You can try requesting your account data from Instagram. Go to Settings > Security > Download Data. It might include your DMs!

Unfortunately, once you delete DMs on Instagram, there's no direct way to recover them, but you can always ask the other person to send screenshots!
Speaking from experience, Instagram's data download tool saved me once. Just be patient; it can take up to 48 hours.
