To get a better oxygen tank in Subnautica, find blueprints and upgrade your Standard O2 Tank at a Fabricator. Make sure to grab the High Capacity O2 Tank blueprint from the wrecks or Degasi Seabases!

Just scan fragments to unlock the blueprints at your Fabricator. Standard tank → High Capacity O2 tank → Ultra High Capacity O2 tank. Easy peasy!
