No special feed or moon dances required here; just get cozy with Shane to a solid 8 hearts. After unlocking his special event, blue chickens roll out as a possibility when purchasing from Marnie. It's all in the friendship!

Easy peasy blue chicken recipe: Befriend Shane, watch a cutscene, buy chickens, hope for that 25% blue surprise. Good luck!

To get blue chickens in Stardew Valley, you first gotta be buddies with Shane. Raise your friendship with Shane to 8 hearts, and you'll trigger a special event where he shows you his 8-heart event, which unlocks the blue chickens. After that, whenever you buy chickens from Marnie's Ranch, there's a 25% chance they'll be blue instead of the usual white or brown.

Actually, you don't NEED blue chickens. Regular chickens are just as good. But hey, to each their own!
