Yeah, no such thing as catfish powder in Subnautica, but for Crashfish Powder: lure the Crashfish to blow up and grab the sulfur from where they lived.

Just swim around the Safe Shallows and Kelp Forest, find a Crashfish nest, and make the fish boom! Then, pick up the sulfur remains. Easy peasy!
