To get chickens in Stardead Valley, first, you gotta have a coop. Marnie's Ranch sells them for 800g each, but make sure you've built that coop with Robin at the Carpenter's Shop. Once that's sorted, head over to Marnie's, select a chicken, and name your new feathery friend!

Can confirm, getting chickens is easy peasy. Build a coop, save up 800g, and bam, head to Marnie鈥檚. Got my first chicken, named it Nugget, and it鈥檚 the best decision I鈥檝e made in the game.
