One of the fastest ways to get clay in Animal Crossing is to hit rocks with your shovel or axe. Each rock on your island can give you up to 8 materials per day, including clay, stones, and iron nuggets. Make sure you don't eat any fruit before hitting the rocks, or you'll break them instead of getting the materials! Also, try visiting mystery islands with Nook Miles Tickets where you can find more rocks to hit.

Hot take: don't stress too much about getting clay fast. Part of the charm of Animal Crossing is taking things at your own pace. Enjoy the little things, like fishing or catching bugs, and you'll accumulate plenty of clay in no time!

Pro tip from someone who's been there: if you're really in a clay pinch, check out your friends' islands! Sometimes, they might have rocks you haven't hit yet, or they might even have some extra clay to spare. Just remember, it's cool to visit friends for resources, but always be respectful and ask before taking anything!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
