Just fish a lot. Seriously, every now and then, you'll fish out a recipe bottle instead of a fish. It's weird but true.

To snag cooking recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you'll want to dive into a couple of activities. First up, check out the daily selection at Nook's Cranny once it gets upgraded - they start selling DIY recipe cards! Also, keep an eye out for message bottles along the beach. You never know when one might contain a cooking recipe. Don't forget to chat up your villagers, as they can randomly gift you recipes, especially when they're cooking in their homes. Lastly, certain seasonal events and updates introduce new recipes, so stay sharp and participate in those.

Seasonal events are your best friend for unique cooking recipes that can't be found anywhere else. Make sure to participate in every single one. The Halloween event got me some spooky good treats!

Honestly? I just talk to my villagers non-stop. The more I annoy them, the more recipes they toss my way. It's like they're trying to bribe me to leave them alone. 10/10 would recommend.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
