Dark Shards are pretty elusive but totally worth the hunt. You can get them by defeating Dark Mummies. These spooky fellows hang out in Corrupt or Crimson Deserts, so make sure you're looking in the right place. Night time's the best time to go Dark Mummy hunting. Also, having a Water Candle or Battle Potion can up your chances since they increase spawn rate. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Just farm Dark Mummies in the Corrupt/Crimson Deserts. Easy.

I spent HOURS hunting for Dark Shards, and let me tell ya, patience is key. Make sure you're in the Corrupt or Crimson Deserts, and it's best to do it at night. Also, Water Candles and Battle Potions are your best friends here. Happy hunting!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
