How to get Essence of Chaos in Terraria

just farm it from enemies in underworld or cavern after hardmode. easy.
I spent hours farming it, and trust me, the best spots are Underground Hallow or Crimson areas. Just be prepared, it's not a quick grab; you'll need to grind a bit.
