Getting your hands on flying items in Terraria is a real game-changer! First off, keep an eye out for floating islands; they often have chests with wings or balloons. You'll need a decent pickaxe or explosive to get in. Also, defeating certain bosses like the Wyvern can drop souls of flight, key for crafting wings. Don't forget the Witch Doctor NPC - after defeating the Queen Bee, he sells the Leaf Wings at night in the Jungle biome. Happy flying!

Honestly, folks often overlook fishing for flying items. Sure, beating bosses and hunting in sky islands is cool, but you can also get some neat gear like balloon pufferfish or cloud in a bottle from crates you fish up. Fishing isn't just for early-game potions!

Farming Wyverns ain't worth it. Just stick to finding floating islands; much easier and less risky.
