Just keep swimming! Seriously, if you encounter a Leviathan, use your Seamoth or Cyclops to boost away quickly and release some decoys if you have them. Good luck!

Honestly, just don't get caught in the first place. Stay out of their path and keep a safe distance. Problem solved.
I've dealt with those terrifying beasts before! Use a Stasis Rifle to freeze them in place and then make a run for it. Don't forget to scream internally!
You can distract them by deploying a Creature Decoy and then hightail it in the opposite direction. Works every time for me!
