Getting a grappling hook in Terraria is like a rite of passage, my friend! You gotta gather yourself 15 iron or lead bars first. Head to an anvil and craft those into 3 chains. Then, snag a hook. You can get this shiny little lifesaver by defeating Skeletons in the underground or if you're feeling lucky, piranhas in the jungle are also an option. Combine the hook and chains at an anvil, and bam! You're ready to swing around like the blocky Spider-Man you always wanted to be.

Honestly, I made my first grappling hook from a lucky drop. Was fighting skeletons for something else and one of them dropped a hook. Didn鈥檛 know what it was for until I stumbled across it in the crafting menu. Easiest grappling hook of my life.

Just buy it from the Goblin Tinkerer, duh. Why bother crafting when you can throw coins at the problem?

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
