How to get Molten Armor in Terraria
Gonna keep it real, just get a bunch of bombs, go to the underworld, and blow up everything in sight till you find enough Hellstone. Mine it, mix it with Obsidian, and bam, Molten Armor is yours. Easy peasy.

Getting Molten Armor in Terraria is all about braving the fiery depths of the Underworld! First things first, you gotta mine Hellstone, which is only found down there. Be warned, it's a bit of a party with lava when you mine it, so bring some Obsidian Skin Potions to avoid getting burnt! You'll need 45 Hellstone Bars to craft the full Molten Armor set, which means you need a whopping 135 Hellstone and 45 Obsidian (cause you craft Hellstone Bars with 3 Hellstone and 1 Obsidian). Head over to a Hellforge, mix 'em up, and voila, you're the proud owner of some shiny new Molten Armor!
I tried mining for Hellstone without Obsidian Skin Potions once. Just once. Nearly lost all my gear to lava. Do yourself a favor, stock up on those potions and maybe bring a friend. Makes getting Molten Armor way less of a pain.
