Hot take here, but honestly, the best way to rack up Galleons in Hogwarts Legacy is to focus on the main and side quests. Yeah, looting and selling stuff is fine, but the quests, especially some of the later ones, give you a hefty chunk of change. Plus, you get to experience more of the awesome story!
Gonna throw in my two knuts: if you're not exploring every corner of the game, you're doing it wrong. Found my richest hauls in the most unexpected places. Always, always check behind every door and under every stone. Those Galleons aren't gonna find themselves!
