Tried to hack this with friends by joining at the exact same time to land in the same server. While not an official solution, sometimes you end up playing 'together' by being in the same place at the same time. It's hit or miss but adds an extra challenge!
Right now, Palworld caps parties at 4 players. The game's designed that way for balance and performance. But, if you're looking to get more of a crowd going, think about hosting multiple parties and exploring the same areas together. Not the same as one big party, but you still get to play with all your friends!
