How to get the Mushroom Cave in Stardew Valley
So, you wanna start growing mushrooms in Stardew Valley? Easy peasy! After a bit of your farm life, Demetrius will pop by your farm and offer to convert either an empty cave on your property into a mushroom cave or fruit bats. Pick mushrooms, and boom, you're in the fungi business. Mushrooms grow there every couple of days, giving you a nice little mix, including the valuable red and purple ones!

To unlock the Mushroom Cave, just keep playing until Demetrius comes to your farm. He'll give you a choice between bats and mushrooms. Choose mushrooms, and you're all set. It's a great way to get steady income from mushrooms without doing much!
