To switch off Quick Chat in Among Us, head to the settings menu in the game lobby and toggle off the Quick Chat option. Easy peasy!

If you're over 13, you can turn off Quick Chat by going to Account > Settings in the main menu and toggling the 'Free or Quick Chat' button.

From personal experience, you can disable Quick Chat by going to the settings gear icon in the main screen lobby. There's an option to turn it off and switch to Free Chat.
