How to Get Out of Passive Mode on GTA 5
SnorkellingClock路7 months agoJust smash that 'M' key on your keyboard (PC, obviously) and click on 'Disable Passive Mode'. If you're on console, it's the 'Select' button, but the rest is the same. Quick and easy, like stealing a car in Los Santos.

Disagree with everyone here. Why would you ever want to leave Passive Mode? It's the only way to enjoy a peaceful stroll in Los Santos without getting run over by a tank or sniped from a skyscraper. ?
Easy peasy! To exit Passive Mode in GTA 5, just hold down the 'Select' button if you're on console to bring up the Interaction Menu. If you're on PC, press the 'M' key instead. Then, scroll down to 'Disable Passive Mode' and voila, you're all set to join the chaos again!
Honestly, just stay in Passive Mode. It's a jungle out there in GTA 5, and sometimes it's nice to take in the sights without becoming roadkill for the umpteenth time. But if you must, 'Select' or 'M' key is your ticket out.
