Getting Overwatch 2 on your Steam Deck is a bit of a workaround since it's not directly available through Steam. First, you'll have to install the Windows partition on your Steam Deck or use the Proton compatibility layer in SteamOS to run Windows games. Then, download the Battle.net launcher through a compatibility tool like Proton or Lutris. Install Overwatch 2 from there, and boom, you're set to play!

Hot take: Why bother with Overwatch 2 on Steam Deck when there are tons of native games that run smoothly without any fuss? Just sayin'.

I actually installed Overwatch 2 on my Steam Deck! It's totally doable. You have to use Proton and might need to tweak some settings for performance, but it runs pretty well. Just make sure to update Proton to the latest version for the best experience.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
