So you wanna snap some pics of those sleek Hot Wheels? Here's the deal: If it's for personal use, shoot away to your heart's content. No need for permission to enjoy photography of your personal collection. But, if you're looking to publish those photos or use them for commercial purposes, you'll need to get in touch with Mattel (the parent company of Hot Wheels). Their customer service or corporate contact page is your best bet. Shoot them an email or give them a call and explain what you're planning. They're the gatekeepers for permissions and usage rights.

Just take the photos. As long as you're not selling them, nobody's gonna come after you.

Used to work in licensing. For anything commercial, always get permission first. Mattel's pretty strict with their IPs, so better safe than sorry. Contact them directly and lay out your project. They can be quite responsive, especially if your project aligns with their brand values.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
