Sorry to burst the Pokeball, but you can't directly get Pokemon cards just by watching Detective Pikachu. However, when the movie was first released, there were special promotional events where you could snag some exclusive Detective Pikachu Pokemon cards at participating cinemas. Your best bet now is to check online marketplaces, local card shops, or fan events for those specific cards. Keep an eye out for future movie releases or Pokemon events, though; you never know when they might do another similar promotion!

Nope, watching Detective Pikachu won't magically grant you Pokemon cards. Would've been cool, though!

Actually managed to get a couple of Detective Pikachu cards myself during a cinema promo when the movie came out! It was a limited time thing, so now, you might have to hunt them down through collectors or special online deals.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
