If you're deeper in the ocean where sunlight won't cut it, try a bioreactor or nuclear reactor. Bioreactors are great for mid-game bases, just feed 'em fish or plants. For late-game, go nuclear; it's efficient but make sure to keep an eye on the rods.

Solar panels, baby! They're the easiest and quickest way to get your base powered up. Just slap a few on the roof of your base in the Safe Shallows, and boom, instant power!

First-hand experience here: I powered my base using the bioreactor. It's pretty low-maintenance once you set it up and keep feeding it organic stuff. Definitely helped me out in the Jellyshroom Cave!

Use thermal plants if you're near those toasty underwater volcanoes. Free energy comes with a side of barbecue!
