Just head to your Pal storage system. There, you'll find options to release or transfer your Pal to another player. Remember, choose wisely; once a Pal is gone, it's gone for good!
Don't get rid of Pals! I once released one I thought I didn't need, and I regretted it later. There's always a way to make any Pal useful, especially with the crafting and base building aspects of the game.
