No joke, the ads are here to stay. Best you can do is hit 'Hide Ad' and keep scrolling!
Ads are a part of Instagram, but you can try using an ad blocker browser when accessing Instagram from your computer. It won't work on the app, though!
I just got used to them. Sometimes they even show me stuff I didn't know I needed!
