I found it easiest when I used Tails to fly over them. The piranhas never saw me coming, and I could just zoom past without any trouble!
Getting rid of those pesky piranhas in Sonic Mania is all about timing and patience. Try jumping on them or using a Spin Attack as Sonic approaches. If you're using Tails, you can even fly over them, giving you a quick and safe escape route!
Using Knuckles can make it easier too since his glide and climbing abilities give you more flexibility in avoiding these underwater nuisances. Just remember to grab air bubbles or rings to keep the adventure going.
