Ohh, smashing rocks in Animal Crossing is super easy and kinda fun! Just eat a piece of fruit to get some super strength and then use your shovel or axe to hit the rock. BAM! It'll break, and you'll have to wait for it to respawn somewhere else on your island in a few days. Pro tip: Don't eat fruit if you're just trying to hit rocks for daily resources like iron or clay; you'll end up breaking them instead of harvesting!

Just hit them with a shovel after eating fruit. They break, problem solved. They'll pop up again in a few days somewhere else.

Y鈥檃ll are missing the point, breaking rocks can mess with your resource gathering. Instead, place mannequin templates or other items around your island where you don鈥檛 want rocks to spawn. This way, you control where they appear without having to break them constantly. It takes planning, but it鈥檚 worth it if you鈥檙e going for that perfect island layout.

Honestly, just let the rocks be. They're not hurting anybody, and you get resources from them. Plus, they respawn, so what's the point?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
