As someone who's clawed my way up the ranks in Splatoon 2, I swear by practicing regularly and studying the game modes. You gotta understand objective control for each mode to win consistently. And, be patient! Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is an S rank.
Aiming & shooting are good, but map awareness wins matches. Always know where your team & enemies are.
