To access debug mode in Sonic Mania, go to the main menu, then choose Mania Mode. Highlight the "No Save" option and hit Y on Xbox, Triangle on PlayStation, or X on Switch and you'll activate debug mode! Happy experimenting!
Debug mode? Just do the Konami code with a Sonic spin: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start (okay not really, but wouldn't that be cool?).
You'll need to enable debug mode by entering the level select and sound test. From the main menu, hold down X (Switch), Square (PS4), or Y (Xbox) and press Start. Then select and play a certain track in the sound test to enter debug mode.
