Just grab a second controller, sign in another account, and press the join button on the main lobby. Easy peasy, but remember it’s only for PS4/PS5 and Xbox.

To get split screen on Fortnite, just connect a second controller and log into a second account. Then, head to the main menu and press the appropriate button to join on the second controller. Only works on PS4/PS5 and Xbox, though!
