The best way is to put advanced drills in the Indigo Quarry. Checking after a few cycles usually gets me some!

Rare as heck! Only found by drilling in the Indigo Quarry or Ancient Ruins.

Strange Diamonds are pretty rare! Look for them in the Indigo Quarry and the Ancient Ruins, but you'll need to use a drill.
