You can find sulfur in the game Subnautica by searching inside Cave Sulfur Plants, which are usually guarded by Crashfish in caves. Watch out for those explosive guys!

Sulfur is guarded by Crashfish inside their nests in caves. Just swim near one, wait for the fish to jump out and explode, then grab the sulfur!

I always find sulfur by diving into the Kelp Forest caves. The Crashfish make it spicy but worth it!
