To catch a butterfly in Hogwarts Legacy, you first need to unlock the 'Beast Petting' ability which is part of the Room of Requirement questline. Once you have that, you can find butterflies fluttering around in various parts of the world - keep an eye out especially in the Hogwarts grounds and near Hogsmeade. Just approach them gently and use the interact button to catch them. Remember, it's all about being at the right place at the right time and having a bit of patience!

Flap to it! Just walk up to a butterfly in the game; no need to net it. They're pretty chill and won't fly away like in real life. It's more about finding them than catching them.

Honestly, you don't really 'catch' butterflies in Hogwarts Legacy like you would in other games. They're more like environmental decorations you can interact with once you have the necessary ability. So, don't worry about stocking up on nets or anything!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
