To get the crystal, go to the volcano and climb up to the top. A crystal spawns there every 15 minutes. Patience pays off!

Head to the desert area and look for the cave. There's a giant crystal inside. You can't miss it!

I've found crystals easiest by completing the volcano quest. It's a bit of work but totally worth it!
