To summon the Eye of Cthulhu, the first boss for many players in Terraria, you need to gather 6 Lenses from defeated Demon Eyes at night and then craft a Suspicious Looking Eye at a Demon/Crimson Altar. Alternatively, there's a 1 in 3 chance each night (once you have at least 200 HP and more than 10 defense) that the Eye of Cthulhu will spontaneously decide to visit you. So, get ready for a surprise visit!

Just keep playing! The Eye of Cthulhu will eventually come knocking when you're least expecting it. Keep your health and defense up, it's like he knows when you're ready.

Honestly, just focus on getting good gear first. The first boss isn't that tough if you're prepared. Plus, if you explore enough, it might just summon itself!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
