Getting the Hotline Fishing Rod in Terraria is all about patience and fishing quests. You need to complete Angler quests, and there's a 1/75 chance of getting it as a reward after you've completed 25 quests. So, keep fishing and completing those quests, and eventually, the Angler will hook you up!

Just fish a lot for the Angler. After 25 quests, you might get lucky. It鈥檚 all RNG.

Trust me, after grinding those quests, the Hotline Fishing Rod feels like a trophy more than a tool. Got mine after what felt like a gazillion quests but it was so worth it!
