You can't actually use Instagram to remove Threads messages directly. Try clearing your app's cache or reinstalling it if they're bugging you.
Ask an Insta expert friend for help if you can't figure it out. Some things on the app can be a bit hidden.
Just go to your profile, tap the Threads icon, and swipe left on each thread to delete them. Easy peasy!
