To get to the Ancient Ruins, you'll need to get six Plorts (Pink, Rock, Phosphor, Tabby, Boom, and Honey) to unlock the slime gates near the Moss Blanket or Indigo Quarry. Follow the path from there, and you'll be all set!

Unlocking the Ancient Ruins requires placing specific Plorts in the statues near the gate! Collect Pink, Rock, Phosphor, Tabby, Boom, and Honey Plorts, and you'll gain access.
I headed to the Moss Blanket, collected the necessary Plorts, and found the gate without issues! Just keep exploring!
Just use the map and follow the paths in the Moss Blanket or Indigo Quarry to find the gate. Easy peasy!
