How to get to the Void in Subnautica
To reach the Void, swim in any direction until you pass the edge of the playable area (around 4000 meters out). The water will turn eerily dark.

You can't miss the Void if you swim far enough in any direction. But beware, it's not for the faint-hearted!
Just keep swimming! Head to the edge of the map, and eventually, you'll find yourself in the Void. Expect to meet some Ghost Leviathans!
Been there, done that! Just keep going straight in any direction off the map. You'll know you've made it when everything gets super creepy and dark.
