To get to the thermal base, first head to the Lost River. Look for the entrance near the Bulb Zone or the Blood Kelp Zone. Once in the Lost River, head towards the Inactive Lava Zone. The thermal base, also known as the Alien Thermal Plant, is located there. Make sure you have a Cyclops or a Prawn Suit equipped with a depth module!

I remember finding the thermal base after a lot of exploration in the Lost River. Keep an eye out for the green brine that's deadly but useful for navigation. From there, dive deeper into the Inactive Lava Zone, and you'll eventually stumble upon it. It's quite a journey!

So, you gotta dive into the Lost River and find your way to the Inactive Lava Zone. Look for the Alien Thermal Plant down there. Pro tip: bring a prawn suit to handle the heat!

Just head to the Lost River, and then into the Inactive Lava Zone. It's in there somewhere. Good luck!
